Hello all,So weekly I send out acknowledgment and security emails to my co-workers to help them stay secure whether they're home or here at work. So my question: what actually works to remote to a Mac that's on OS X Lion? Thanks in advance. There are a few articles about this issue online, but no resolution, only 'upgrade to Mountain Lion.' I don't have another Mac so I can't use ARD. I've tried a PC, an iPhone and iPad all have the same results. I use RealVNC for the client mostly, but UVNC also fails. VNC gets stuck at the OS X login screen, but I can't click to enter my password. This is a personal account (free), so it's not too surprising. Opened a support ticket with TM and they just gave up and stopped getting back to me. I've reset the password several times, made TM password match sudo, match VNC password, ect, etc. TeamViewer just tells me the password is incorrect until authentication fails. I have managed to get Apple Remote Desktop to connect, but OS X integrated VNC and Team Viewer just do not work.

It tops out at OS X Lion, so unfortunately I can't upgrade to Mountain Lion. Ok, this is a battle I've been fighting with my personal MacPro for months now.
